As we come to the end of our first season, we want to take a moment to reflect and say a massive thank you to everyone who has made these last seven months at Fonmon Castle unforgettable.
We joined the Fonmon Castle family during February half-term, and it’s been a whirlwind of excitement and events ever since. From opening our doors for the February half-term by running our "have a go" sessions in the medieval village throughout Easter and summer to our taster sessions and forest archery sessions the energy and enthusiasm we've received from visitors has been truly overwhelming.
One of our biggest highlights this year has been launching our 7 target forest archery (field archery) experience and our beginners courses and opened our enchanting forest to adventurers of ages 8+ and creating memorable experiences through bespoke packages for corporate days, Scout and Guide events, as well as hosting some activities for AGM's and taster sessions. It’s been a pleasure seeing so many different groups come together, immerse themselves in nature, and try their hand at archery, axe throwing and activities throughout the medieval village and around the site.
As we head into the colder months, our group sessions will be taking a break from October through to the 31st of January. However, we’re excited to say that we will still be opening up for have a goes in the medieval village at Fonmon castles magical Halloween and Christmas events within the festive spirit.
Thank you once again to everyone who visited, participated, and supported us throughout this incredible journey. We can’t wait to see you again next year with even more exciting experiences lined up!
